I also have gotten several 50+ viewer raids from other streamers on my team who saw my in game name. I'm also getting several daily follows from people I play with. Pros: at least 10 of my regular viewers are from in game players seeing my TTV name. My ttv friends say sometimes they do get hate for it, but I would never have met them if they didn't have it in their name. Be prepared to meet sniping or butthurt with positivity or jokes. Not sure percentages but several have come back after finding me, and I've met some wonderful friends this way. You need to be on, and give us a reason to come back. Sometimes they just have a donation panel which triggers me. Checked out about ten people last week and only one was interactive and seemed happy to see me. ![]() Someone last week said follow and sub and I'm like wow. I prefer the ttv or tv in your name to the self promo in game chat. I'll tell people only if I'm going to clip something they'd be interested in seeing, maybe once or twice a month. My name matches here, but on twitch it's domino427. I have been sniped a few times playing with ttv friends. I love watching the vod later to see our game from the other side. There are lots of good players though.Īs for ttv I always look them up. I only do siege multiplayer, and try not to play with more than one random. I think the key is, I was engaging with the players just as much as the audience, which drew those people to want to join my stream as well, despite sometimes only having 2-3 viewers. Thats a great generalization though, so dont take 20% as how much power it holds, and in my case, it didnt hurt that I was topping scoreboards every game with highlight reels, but I hope that gives you an idea of how I saw things. Which means you take whatever you want out of that to determine who was a passer by viewer, or in-game advertisement due to the name.įrom the chatters I got saying gg's etc, I would say that roughly half of that, at 20%, is a good estimate for my followers/viewers due to it. ![]() Out of those 100, and my viewers in general, roughly 40% of my clicks were direct/search. In my first month I hit affiliate, and then another 50 in the next week. I used that moniker and also engaged politely and in a fun way to players I was playing with as well as chat. I used it as in my personal opinion, it looks cleaner, and will work across socials.Īs for your post's question. It gets the point across, and people know you are a content creator. Thanks to /u/iTruthful and Conceptional for the art! Clip Contest: November 4th - 18th AMA: Previously: Certified Ergonomic Specialist and an Occupational TherapistĪs an alternative (I assume this post is for you to build a brand and change your name, maybe adding ttv or not).
